Look–another creative distraction!
I’ve always been fascinated by manual typewriters. I learned to type on one in high school, but not one as old as this.
The Blackstone “Speed Typing” Intensive Course manual is dated 1943, so I suspect this could be an-oldy-and-a-goody. Preliminary research into this vintage model puts it between 1935-1940 and manufactured by the Remington Company. It’s basic black, portable–but heavy.
And it works! Even the bell will DING at the end of the line.
